Discount shopping first

Hello,

I do a lot of shopping online.I haven't been in a mall for a very long time. My day is spent looking at sites like Zuilly, Wayfair, and any site that offers a discount . If I am looking for something specific, I first surf the web for that item. I shop pricing, I then save whatever I find in bookmarks , Now the fun!!! I then hit the discount sites for the same or "close too" the same design, color  etc. On the discount sites I ALWAYS hit the CLEARANCE  Category first. Sometimes you'll find something you like better.

L love used furniture stores. Now, I wouldn't purchase a mattress  used, but a headboard is fine. Check out the RESTORE , a resale store run by Habitat For Humanity. They have furniture and building supplies. LOVE this store. Charlie and I did a bathroom from bare bones, not even a toilet !, Also a bedroom. All the cost for both rooms  including paint, on sale at Sherman Williams  was just under $500. Our bathroom floor brand new cost $10 , We found boxes of new interlocking flooring  at the RESALE Store.  Toilet $25

Thank God for HOBBY LOBBY ! I looked in magazines for beach themed decor. Then I looked at Hobby Lobby for items I could use to make  decorations for the bed and bathrooms. Cost me pennies instead of mucho dollars. I am NOT a crafty person, but in order to save money, I gave it my best shot!!!

Other online stores I shop....... Touch of Class (clearance items only) Target Clearance , Bed Bath and  ETSY!. If you have not discovered this site, it's a must. Not only for handcrafted or vintage items but for ideas.

Have a great time surfing the web! Save money

Let me introduce myself

Hello

My name is Lyndsey,

Thank you for visiting my new blog. I hope what I have to contribute will be of some interest to you.

I love to decorate and travel ,at times I will add an idea you may find interesting . My style is casual  and I may put all kind of ideas and inspirations on this blog just FYI.

My husband and I have decided to put some "roots" down. We have been traveling the great USA for the past 7 years , We had a 40 foot motor home which we called "home" .

Now we are trying to get our land legs rooted in one spot. It is not easy and we are not sure we made the right decision . Our hearts are still on the road ,looking for our next spot to explore.

We became "workampers" What is a workamper ? It is someone who has an adventurous nature , a people person . Someone with a RV.
You decide what area of the country you would like to explore, surf the web for area campgrounds and  inquire if they have a workamper program. Most times you work in exchange for your site. Sometimes there is an hourly wage involved. It is a great way to travel and see the country for very little money. Here is a link to a website where you can find work. www.workampernews.com or www.workersonwheels.com
Both of these sites are very helpful
So hello and I hope you visit again.
